法国Roullier集团中国区事务总监皮埃尔·威瑟:“外来马”更应向本地农资企业学习

“我们不做市场调查,也不雇佣咨询公司。我们只想制造伟大的产品。”这是乔布斯的一句名言。他说,因为我是领导时尚的,我是引导消费者的,我做什么,他们就用什么。采访法国Roullier集团中国区事务总监皮埃尔·威瑟先生的时候,突然想到乔布斯的这段话。我想,乔布斯之所以能能说出这么狂妄的话,底气来自苹果源源不断的创新,从iPod、iPad、iPhone,很多人都在用。看到这儿,聪明的您大概猜到下面我们要谈什么了。
作为新兴市场的路标性国家,中国已经被跨国农化企业纳入全球战略考虑的范围。如何让跨国农化企业的创新适应中国国情?在中国落地、生根开花?听听来自法国Roullier集团的高管怎么说。
链接:Roullier集团是一家法国的大型肥料生产企业,公司成立于1959年,在过去的50多年的历史中,一直专注于肥料的生产和销售。集团拥有6700名员工,集团业务覆盖了原材料的萃取到成品生产销售的整个过程。缔马(北京)贸易有限公司是法国虎立业集团(Group Roullier)旗下中国子公司,主要经营Group Roullier在中国的贸易(TIMAB)、农业(TIMAC AGRO)业务。
南方农村报(下称“南农”):2015您过得快乐吗,最开心的事情是什么?
皮埃尔·威瑟:2015年最开心的事情是我已经在中国定居,并且我发现中国是一个很不可思议的美妙的国家。自从我搬到中国以来,每天都有新的惊喜!我也遇到了很多很棒的人,并且我相信在2016年还将会有更多的新的发现。我非常期待!
My happiest thing for 2015 has been my installation in China, and the discovery this incredible country. Since I moved to China, I have been surprised on daily basis! I have also met a lot of incredible people and I am sure that many new discoveries will continue to happen in 2016. I am really looking forward to it!
南农:您曾经说过,Roullier集团在中国攻城拔寨有三把利剑,具体是什么呢?
皮埃尔·威瑟:首先,人才是企业实力的重要构成部分。我们的员工拥有前沿的技术知识和对工作的绝对热情,他们能够为我们的客户提供最高水平的施肥解决方案。
The Roullier Group is organized around 3 pillars which makes it a very unique and successful company:The first one, is our people who constitutes the main asset of the company, based on their high technical knowledge and deep commitment, they are able to provide our customer with top level fertilization solutions.
第二,基于我们团队收集的当地市场调研信息,以及Roullier集团的科研优势(集团总部已投资近3千万美元在法国圣马洛成立了我们独一无二的全球研发中心),我们能够设计和研发适应当地需求的新肥料(包括特种复合肥,生物刺激素,土壤调理剂,水溶肥等)。这也是得益于我们和全球相关院校科研机构的通力合作。
The second one is, based on the information collected by our team and our group strength our R&D center ( The group recently invested 30MUSD in its unique facility in Saint Malo – France). We are able to design innovative fertilizers in every different types of products (NPK Granular, Biostimulant, Soil Conditionner, WSF) adapted to local need, thanks to a global partner-universities network.
第三,Roullier集团拥有雄厚的工业资本和生产实力。我们的专业技术团队也在不断研发和升级生产工艺和流程,为企业带来更多创新。此外,我们的生产灵活性能够满足订单式生产模式需求,为客户提供量身定制的产品。
The Third one is our Industrial patrimony which enables the group to bring innovation through production thanks to specific processes developed by our internal technical team. Furthermore, the flexibility of our facilties enables us to produce taylor-made fertilisers.
南农:如果在 2016 年,您有机会在中国人民面前做一次演讲,你会讲什么主题?
皮埃尔·威瑟:我将会把主题定为“合理的农业发展”。事实上,中国政府已经设立了高目标来促进企业生产更高质量的农资产品,目的是为了建立一套更为高效的农业体系。在我们的当地团队和全球专家们的支持下,法国缔马公司的目标是提高产品质量,提高农户田地产量,并最终提高农民的整体收入,同时保护土壤结构并满足长期可持续发展的需求。通过企业核心管理,同时结合法国缔马的团队力量和Roullier集团的优秀技术,我们可以为农户提供一个更好的机会来共同支持中国的农业项目发展。
The Theme would be“reasonable agriculture development”. Indeed the Chinese administration has set high targets to produce more qualitative products based on a more efficient agriculture system. In Timab Beijing, thanks to our local team and our global expertise, our goals is to improve the quality, the yield and the global revenue of farmers and to preserve resources and the soil structure to enable a long term development. By combining the will of the administration, Timab Beijing team and Roulliers technology, we could offer farmers a great opportunity to sustain China agriculture project.
南农:经营一家具有国际视野的企业,对您意味着什么?
皮埃尔·威瑟:这意味着,作为国际化企业,我们能够汲取集团全球60年致力农业发展的宝贵经验,为中国市场打造最因地制宜的肥料解决方案。这意味着整个集团都在为中国项目的发展做出投入和支持。此外,Roullier集团国际化的视野总是以本土化战略作为根基。事实上,想要在中国实现我们的目标,我们就必须在国际战略的基础上,不断整合中国本土文化、本土习俗和本土人才。
It means that, as international company, we will have the opportunity to bring into China our most adapted fertilizers solution to Chinese need based on 60 years of history and on our worldwide implementation. It means that the whole Group is invested in China’s development. Furthermore, in Roullier an international vision always goes with a local roots. Indeed, we will achieve our targets only if we integrate the Chinese culture, local habits, and chinese talents specificities in our model.

南农:如果可以,你还想从法国带一款什么样的产品到中国?为什么?
皮埃尔·威瑟:想带来的不仅仅是具体某一个产品,而是希望为我们的客户们和合作伙伴们提供植物营养的整体解决方案。具体来讲,我们希望能够通过我们的土壤调理剂产品来平衡土壤PH值,通过生物刺激素和水溶肥为作物提供营养,使作物在强酸性土壤环境下也能茁壮成长。以上这些产品都在进行产品登记,并很快就会投入中国市场!
More than a product, what we would like to bring into China is our global fertilization solution to provide our customers and partners with the full expertise of the Group. In details, we would like to be able to bring our specific soil conditioner to balance PH issue, bio stimulants and water soluble to provide the plant with right nutrition despite the strong acidic soil environment. All these products are under certification process and should be available on the market very soon!
南农:如果在 2016 年,您有机会创造一条外资农化企业中国化经营规则,你会怎么做?
皮埃尔·威瑟:我想借此机会来简化新产品在中国注册登记的相关法规。尽管企业的内部团队在竭力支持相关工作,我们也想把最新技术带到中国,但目前仍然面临着诸多注册登记方面的困难。
I would take this opportunity to simplify the legislation regarding the registration of new products in China, despite a very good collaboration with central administration, we still face hardships to bring all of our latest technology in to China.
南农:2016 年你希望Roullier集团(北京缔马国际贸易公司)未来身处一个怎样的世界?
皮埃尔·威瑟:我希望在一个理想的世界中,法国缔马公司可以找到尽可能多的人才来实施我们的项目发展,并且与我们的合作伙伴和客户建立牢固的商业关系。我也希望所有员工都能实现他们事业上的成功和个人目标!
I expect Timab Beijing to live in a world where we could find as many talents as we can to fulfill our projects and build strong relationships with our partners and our customers. I also wish that all of them achieve their professional and personal goals!
南农:中外对比,相对于外资企业,您认为中国农资企业缺什么?
皮埃尔·威瑟:我不觉得中国当地农资企业缺乏任何东西,我相信比起外国公司来说,他们拥有对当地市场的了解和操作经验,而这些经验正是我们集团在中国市场上成功的关键。法国缔马公司想要成功,就需要向当地的农资企业借鉴和学习!
I am not sure that the Chinese local agriculture enterprise are lacking of anything, I believe that they have as many assets if not more than foreign companies as they have the understanding of the local culture and of the local market, which, in our case is one of the key parameter to be successful. Timab Beijing has to learnt from other local companies how to be successful!
